President Ilham Aliyev’s participation in the Opening of the 4th Shusha Global Media Forum

On July 13, the opening ceremony of the 4th Shusha Global Media Forum, themed The Mission of the Media in Promoting Peace: Restoring Truth and Rebuilding Trust, was held in Shusha. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the event and answered questions from media representatives from various countries around the world.

In his remarks, President Ilham Aliyev outlined Azerbaijan’s positions on international transport corridors, energy security, relations with the European Union and the United States, the regional peace process, the reconstruction of Karabakh, digital transformation, and the situation in the Middle East. The Head of State emphasized that Azerbaijan’s role as a reliable energy partner and an important transit country continues to grow.

The forum brought together 160 participants from 53 countries, including representatives of 30 news agencies, more than 60 media organizations, and 10 international organizations.
