Opening ceremony of Karabakh Textile House LLC in Khojaly city

On May 28, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the opening ceremony of Karabakh Textile House LLC in Khojaly city.

The facility, equipped with Turkish and Chinese technologies, will produce 1.4 million textile products annually. In the initial phase, the enterprise will manufacture various types and sizes of home textile products, including bedding sets, bedspreads, sofa covers, towels, and other items.

The raw material supply will mainly be ensured from the domestic market, while additional imports will come from Türkiye, Uzbekistan, and China. The products manufactured here will be used to meet domestic demand and will also be exported.

The factory currently employs 85 people, most of whom are residents returning to liberated territories or living in nearby districts. In addition, 40 residents of Khojaly and Aghdam districts will be involved in a two-month vocational training program organized with the support of the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population. Those who successfully complete the program are expected to be employed at the facility. In the future, the number of jobs is planned to increase to 200, along with the expansion into garment production.
