Visit to the Victory Park

On September 27 – Remembrance Day, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev visited the under-construction Victory Park in Baku. The head of state laid a bouquet of flowers in front of the memorial stone at the park’s entrance.

In accordance with the decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev on December 3, 2020, Victory Museum is being established in the park under construction to commemorate the path to the historic victory for the liberation of our lands and to honor the memory of the brave soldiers and officers who fought heroically n the Patriotic War, as well as all martyrs. The names of every martyr of the Patriotic War will be inscribed in the museum complex, and the exhibits that will be collected here will once again demonstrate the bravery of our soldiers and officers who fought for the liberation of our territories from occupation, and the determination of our people. The complex will be surrounded by a park.
