Visit to the Aghali village

On June 17, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia visited the Aghali village in the Zangilan district. During their visit, President Aliyev and Mr. Minnikhanov toured the village in electric vehicles, met and talked with local residents.

As part of the Great Return initiative, a total of 86 families, comprising 420 individuals, have been resettled in the Aghali village to date. The new residents of Aghali have been provided with high-quality, “smart” technology-equipped homes. Relevant organizations have facilitated employment for the residents based on their professional skills and qualifications. They work in various government institutions, public catering establishments, construction companies, and a textile factory. Comprehensive infrastructure has been developed for the resettled population.
