Visit to Seyidbeyli village
On September 15, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev visited the Seyidbeyli village of the Khojaly district.
The construction of social infrastructure in the village, which came under Azerbaijan’s control during the anti-terror operation carried out by our Armed Forces in September 2023, has begun. A 30-kilometer-long existing power line was restored, two transformers were installed, and the meter installation work was launched. Main gas pipelines were laid, a 5.7-kilometer-long gas line was restored, along with a water reservoir and a sub-artesian well, and the drinking water network was reconstructed. A flag square was built in the village, and internal roads were paved with asphalt.
Seyidbeyli village has 140 houses, of which 22 are uninhabitable and 118 are partially usable. Ten houses have already been restored. By the end of this year, 44 more houses will be ready for use, followed by another 64 in 2026. To date, 9 families (31 people) have resettled in the village.
As part of the visit, the Head of State visited the home of Rasim Alakbarov, one of the resettled residents, and spoke with his family members.
