Visit to Isa Spring in Shusha

On November 7, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva visited the Isa Spring in Shusha.

Isa spring, located in the forest at a distance of 4 kilometers from the city of Shusha, at an altitude of approximately 1300 meters, is considered one of the rare pearls of Azerbaijani nature. According to local tradition, the spring is named after a farmer named Isa, who first discovered it in the dense forest during the 18th century. After the Patriotic War, the Isa Spring was completely restored by the Shusha City State Reserve Department. The spring itself was crafted from marble, with the words Isa Spring inscribed in national ornament. The water supply of the spring has also been fully restored.
