On April 25, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov visited the city of Aghdam. The heads of states were briefed on the city’s Master Plan.
Aghdam city, which had been thoroughly destroyed by Armenian armed forces, is being rebuilt by the Azerbaijani state. The reconstruction concept of Aghdam includes developing the city’s tourism potential. For this purpose, the Aghdam City Hotel and Hilton Garden Inn projects are being undertaken. A complex of Occupation and Victory Museums is also being created in the city. The complex will start from the Museum of Occupation and end with the Museum of Victory. Among them will be the Memorial Garden.
A 960-seat general education school will be constructed in the central part of the city. Mugham Center will consist of one-story and two-story blocks. A 5-hectare area has been allocated for the Central Park in the city.
