Unveiling of plaques on Khurshidbanu Natavan and Zafar Streets, and at the intersection of Karabakh and Khan Shushinski Streets in Shusha

On May 10, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, and their family members participated in the unveiling ceremonies of plaques on Khurshidbanu Natavan and Zafar Streets, as well as at the intersection of Karabakh and Khan Shushinski Streets in Shusha. During the ceremonies, the head of state removed the coverings from the plaques displaying the street names.

Khurshidbanu Natavan Street, which is 438 meters long and 14 meters wide, covers the historical central parts of the city. Zafar Street, named in honor of the glorious victory in the Patriotic War, is 1,963 meters long, with a width varying between 10 and 11 meters according to the roadbed. One of the main streets in Shusha is Karabakh Street. The street is 338 meters long and 11 meters wide. Khan Shushinski Street, named after People’s Artist of Azerbaijan and prominent singer Khan Shushinski, is 293 meters long and 10 meters wide.
