Trilateral Meeting in Brussels

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev had a working lunch meeting with the President of the European Council Charles Michel, and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan in Brussels on April 6. The meeting lasted more than 4 hours.

The main discussion topics of the meeting were the points proposed by Armenia and Azerbaijan for the regulation of relations or the start of peace negotiations, the issues of returning captives and clarifying the fate of missing persons, issues of opening regional communications, the issues of starting the work of the bilateral commission on border delimitation and security. Following the meeting, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan instructed the foreign ministers of their countries to start preparations for peace talks.
