The Exhibition “Karabakh is a Pearl of Azerbaijani Culture”

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, on August 30, got acquainted with the exhibition “Karabakh is a pearl of Azerbaijani culture” organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation within the framework of the Vagif’s Poetry Days in Shusha.

More than sixty paintings and sculptures presented at the exhibition take visitors on a journey into a joyful and sad, real and fantastic, open and secret, colorful and monochrome world. The primary source of inspiration in the works presented here is Karabakh. A wide space is given to such topics as landscapes, writers, carpets, horses, the mugam of Karabakh, and victory in the Patriotic War.
