Statement of the Ministry of Defense

On September 19, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan issued a statement announcing the initiation of local counter-terrorism measures aimed at ensuring the implementation of the provisions of the Trilateral Statement signed on November 10, 2020, preventing large-scale provocations in the Karabakh economic region, disarming and removing Armenian armed forces from our territories, neutralizing their military infrastructure, ensuring the safety of civilians returning to the liberated areas, as well as civilian and military personnel involved in reconstruction efforts, and restoring the constitutional order of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
