Review of the works and meeting with residents in Boyuk Galaderesi village
On May 28, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev inspected ongoing reconstruction work in Boyuk Galaderesi village of the Shusha district and met with residents who had returned to the village.
A number of projects have been implemented to ensure essential living conditions and address social needs in the village of Boyuk Galaderesi. A transformer has been installed, new power lines have been laid, and existing lines have been restored. In the first phase, houses designated for resettlement have been equipped with electricity meters. A new gas pipeline has also been laid, and installation of gas meters has begun. Work has been carried out to provide residents with drinking water, including the construction of distribution water lines and installation of meters. In addition, internal village roads have been improved, a park has been created for residents’ recreation, and a flag square has been established. Work is currently ongoing on the installation of communication lines.
The village has a total of 50 private houses. Of these, 13 are uninhabitable and 37 are partially habitable. In the first phase, 17 houses have already been restored and 64 residents (14 families) have returned to the village. The restoration of a further 20 houses is planned in the next phase.
During the meeting, President Ilham Aliyev congratulated the residents on the occasions of Eid al-Adha and Independence Day and wished them a peaceful and happy life in their native Karabakh. The residents expressed their gratitude to the Head of State for their return. The meeting concluded with the taking of commemorative photographs.
