Review of the reconstruction progress in Khojavend city

On February 25, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, and their daughter Arzu Aliyeva reviewed the ongoing reconstruction progress in the city of Khojavend.

Khojavend city was liberated from occupation during the anti-terror operation conducted in September 2023. There are 980 individual houses in the city, of which 133 are uninhabitable and 847 are partially habitable. Currently, 55 of the partially habitable houses are ready for occupancy. 792 additional houses are scheduled for repair this year. In February, 50 families – 194 people, returned to the city of Khojavend. 

Following the inspection of the reconstruction progress, President Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, and their daughter Arzu Aliyeva visited the home of Ilgar Hasanov, who had moved to Khojavend city, spoke with the family members, and took commemorative photos.
