Reception of the representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs by President Ilham Aliyev

On February 14, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Igor Khovaev, the special representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the normalization of Azerbaijan-Armenia relations.

During the meeting, there was an exchange of views on the process of normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as the preparation of a peace agreement. Igor Khovaev provided information on his visit to the region and the steps taken by Russia to support the negotiation process on preparing the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
