President Ilham Aliyev’s visit to the Karkijahan settlement of Khankendi

On October 15, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev visited the Karkijahan settlement of Khankendi.

The head of state inspected the territory of the settlement. The settlement was occupied by Armenian armed forces on December 28, 1991. Following the local counter-terrorism measures conducted by the Azerbaijani Army in the Karabakh on September 19–20 of this year, the Karkijahan settlement was liberated from separatists.
