President Ilham Aliyev’s speech and raising of the Azerbaijani Flag in Khankendi

On October 15, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev raised the State Flag of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Khankendi.

The head of state delivered a speech there. Saying that today is a historic day, the Azerbaijani flag was raised in the central square of Khankendi, the victorious Commander-in-Chief congratulated all the people of Azerbaijan on this occasion.

Emphasizing that the main cause of this historic day is the people of Azerbaijan, the children of Azerbaijan, the head of state noted that, “Standing here today is a great happiness, a great joy, and a source of pride. I proudly raised the Azerbaijani flag today and want to tell my people once again that we deserve this Victory. The people of Azerbaijan achieved this victory at the cost of their blood and lives. The flag I raise here today will wave eternally, and we will live here forever. Karabakh is ours, Karabakh is Azerbaijan!”
