President Ilham Aliyev’s participation in the opening of the Karabakh Regional DOST center in Barda

On August 7, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev participated in the opening of the Karabakh Regional DOST Center of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection in Barda.

The DOST Agency was established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on August 9, 2018. Through the DOST centers, the agency provides 159 services in 15 areas related to employment, labor, disability, and social protection under the “single-window” principle, ensuring full transparency and citizen satisfaction.

The four-story building of the Karabakh Regional DOST Center meets the highest standards. It will employ 123 staff members, and 50 volunteers will participate in the “Volunteer DOST” program. The center is expected to serve an average of 650–700 citizens per day. The Karabakh Regional DOST Center will cover nine administrative districts. The center will provide services to a total population of over 770,000 people. 170,000 of those are directly involved in social protection programs.
