President Ilham Aliyev’s congratulations to the people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of Novruz holiday

On March 18, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, and their daughter Arzu Aliyeva lit the Novruz bonfire in the Talish village of the Suqovushan settlement. Afterwards, the head of state congratulated our nation on the occasion of the Novruz holiday.

Speaking about the acts of vandalism committed by Armenians in the occupied territories during the First Karabakh War and the occupation period, as well as the destructive steps they took during the peace negotiations, the head of state once again emphasized that during the Second Karabakh War, our nation united like a fist and confidently went into battle for our just cause, he also spoke about the reconstruction work carried out in the territories liberated from occupation after the war.

For the third time, the President conveyed his Novruz greetings to the Azerbaijani people from native Karabakh, calling it a great happiness, he respectfully honored the dear memory of our heroic martyrs who bestowed this happiness upon us, praying for their souls, and sincerely saluted the heroic Azerbaijani soldiers, noting that we have returned to our native lands at the cost of their lives and blood.
