President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva’s visit to the Girmizi Bazar settlement in the Khojavend district

On December 20, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva visited the Girmizi Bazar settlement in the Khojavend district during their trip to the district.

The settlement was occupied by Armenian armed forces in 1992. As a result of counter-terrorism measures conducted by the Azerbaijani Army in Karabakh on September 19–20 of this year, the Girmizi Bazar settlement was cleared of separatists.
