Opening ceremony of the Shusha Treatment and Health Center

On May 9, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attended the opening ceremony of the Shusha Treatment and Health Center.

The foundation of the center was laid in November 2021 with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva. The center consists of six buildings and has a capacity of 90 beds. It includes departments for therapy, pediatrics, surgery, and other specialties. Additionally, a consultative polyclinic, pediatric polyclinic, radiology, functional diagnostics, physiotherapy and medical rehabilitation departments, as well as a clinical diagnostic laboratory, have been established.

The Shusha Treatment and Health Center is equipped with modern medical equipment that meets international standards, including a CT scanner, digital telescopic X-ray, and digital stationary ultrasound machines. These, in turn, create ample opportunities to conduct high-level examination and treatment of patients. A hygiene and epidemiology center, hemodialysis and other buildings have been built on the territory of the medical facility.
