Opening ceremony of the plant for the production of electrical distribution equipment, electrical sockets, and concrete substations

On September 19, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of the Eel Electric Limited Liability Company’s plant for the production of electrical distribution equipment, electrical sockets, and concrete substations in the Aghdam Industrial Park.

A company for the production of 35 kV, 10 kV and 0.4 kV electrical distribution devices will be operated by Eel Electric LLC on the 1.7-hectare area of ​​the industrial park by applying advanced technologies from Europe and Türkiye.

Eel Electric LLC was registered as a resident of Aghdam Industrial Park in November 2022. With an investment value exceeding 3 million manats, the enterprise will provide employment for 70 people. The enterprise will produce 600 medium-voltage devices, 600 low-voltage devices, 150 monobloc concrete substations and 140 charging equipment for electric vehicles per year. It is planned that 60% of the products will be sold in the domestic market, while 40% will be exported to foreign markets.
