Opening ceremony of the newly renovated secondary school No. 1 in the Karkijahan settlement

On December 23, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the opening ceremony of the newly renovated secondary school No. 1 in the Karkijahan settlement of the city of Khankendi.

Major renovation work at the school building, designed for 624 students, was carried out to a high standard and within a short period of time. A total of 17 classrooms, laboratories, STEAM rooms, computer science rooms, military training rooms, biology, chemistry, physics, technology classrooms, extracurricular activity rooms, preschool preparation rooms, a library, reading hall, sports hall, assembly hall, and a cafeteria will be available to teachers and students. All rooms in the building have been equipped with the necessary educational materials. In addition, an outdoor sports ground has been built in the schoolyard.
