Opening ceremony of the livestock complex in Khanabad village

On May 9, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the opening ceremony of the livestock complex operated by Goch Et Rural Farm LLC in the territory of Khanabad village, Khojaly district.

The complex includes breeding, meat and dairy livestock farming, production, and public catering services. The total capacity of the breeding farm is 750 head of cattle. Currently, the farm houses 355 head of pedigree cattle of three different breeds. Utilizing Turkish and German technologies, the complex has an annual production capacity of 100 tons of meat and 2,000 tons of milk. In the future, it is planned to increase milk production to 3,000 tons annually. The products manufactured at the complex will be supplied to the domestic market and also exported to the United Arab Emirates and Qatar.

As a result of the company’s activities in the liberated territories, 55 jobs have been created. Once the dairy production facility is launched, the total number of jobs created by the company in the liberated areas is expected to reach 100. The project cost of the complex is 4.2 million manats, and it spans 7.6 hectares. Additionally, more than 500 hectares have been sown with winter barley and wheat, which will meet the feed needs of the farm.
