Opening ceremony of the LATIFA Lachin Garment Factory

On May 27, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of the LATIFA Lachin Garment Factory.

The Lachin Agro-Industrial Park, which was inaugurated on August 26, 2023, with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, continues to expand its operations. Located in the village of Zerti in Lachin district, the park is now home to 12 enterprises. Two more enterprises are planned to be launched within the industrial park. One of them is the LATIFA Lachin Garment Factory.

The total investment value of the factory is 1.2 million manats, and it will create 30 new jobs. The factory is expected to produce 2,000 textile products per day. These will include home textiles, sportswear sets, exclusive clothing, and other items.

Following the tour of the facility, the Head of State met with local residents.
