Opening ceremony of the Lachin Recreation Complex

On May 27, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev participated in the opening ceremony of the Lachin Recreation Complex in Zerti village of the Lachin district.

The Lachin recreation complex, with an area of 11.2 hectares and a total area of 42,000 square meters, will consist of a hotel building with 120 rooms of various categories and 8 cottages, and will be able to accommodate a total of 324 guests. The complex also features modern, fully equipped facilities for business meetings, conferences, and other events — including a 500-seat event hall, a 340-seat banquet hall, a 100-seat conference hall, and a meeting room.

Restaurants and cafés within the complex will offer a variety of dishes from both Azerbaijani and international cuisines. To ensure a pleasant and entertaining stay for guests, the complex includes bowling, VR gaming zones, karaoke, billiards, and a children’s entertainment center. Outdoor amenities such as football and basketball courts, as well as bicycle and walking paths, will provide opportunities for active leisure against the backdrop of scenic mountain views.

This recreation area employs 174 people, 122 of whom are residents of Lachin, Kalbajar, and other territories liberated from occupation.
