Opening ceremony of the Karabakh University Clinic building

On September 14, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the opening ceremony of the Karabakh University Clinic building in the city of Khankendi. The Head of State reviewed the conditions created in the clinic building.

The clinic was established in accordance with the decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev in February of this year. In a short period of time, a modern educational infrastructure for medical studies was developed at the university. The clinic building includes 23 doctors’ offices, laboratories, as well as X-ray, emergency care, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), and angiography rooms.

The clinic will ensure the professional training of students specializing in medicine at Karabakh University, facilitate scientific research in the field, and play an important role in protecting public health in the region. It will serve as a center for education, research, and medical services.
