Opening ceremony of the Hochazfilm creative studio’s filming pavilion in the Lachin district

On August 25, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attended the opening ceremony of the filming pavilion of the Hochazfilm creative studio in the Lachin district.

The Hochazfilm studio, a rare multi-faceted creative project space of Karabakh, consists of two administrative buildings and one filming pavilion in the city of Lachin. The studio’s name is derived from the Hochaz rocks, one of the main symbols of the Lachin district. The studio will serve as a regional audiovisual center to document the pre- and post-occupation periods of the Karabakh region, with Lachin at the forefront.

The studio complex will also include Hochaz Hotel and Hochaz Cafe. The pavilion is equipped with international-standard technical facilities, including sound and light insulation. The first project of the Hochazfilm creative studio is the feature documentary film ” Governor of Karabakh,” which tells the story of Khosrov bey Sultanov, the first Minister of War of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic and a native of Lachin.
