Opening ceremony of Talish–Tapgaragoyunlu–Gashalti Sanitarium highway

On March 18, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, and their daughter Arzu Aliyeva visited the Tartar district. During the visit, the head of state participated in the opening of the Talish–Tapgaragoyunlu–Gashalti sanitarium highway.

The new highway, which connects four residential areas, is 22 kilometers long, and 9 meters wide for 19 kilometers and 6 meters wide for 3 kilometers. As part of this road construction project, a car bridge 84 meters long was built over the Inchechay River. The three-span bridge is 14.5 meters wide. The bridge was constructed with a seismic resistance of 9 points. According to the project, bus stops were built along the road, and other necessary infrastructure was created to ensure the proper organization of traffic.
