Opening ceremony of Nizami Ganjavi Secondary School No. 4 following renovation

On September 19, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the opening ceremony of Secondary School No. 4 named after Nizami Ganjavi in the city of Khankendi, following its renovation.

The comprehensive renovation of Khankendi City Secondary School No. 4, named after Nizami Ganjavi and designed to accommodate 624 students, was carried out within the framework of the implementation of the First State Program on the Great Return to the liberated territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan, approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated November 16, 2022.

This educational institution, which has a long-standing history, has operated as an Azerbaijani school since 1945. The major renovation of the school, commissioned by the Ministry of Science and Education, began in May of this year. The school project covers an area of 0.67 hectares, with a total area of ​​3,760 square meters. The school includes 11 classrooms, laboratories for chemistry, physics, and biology, rooms for technology and computer science, 2 STEAM rooms, a pre-military training cabinet, a library, assembly and sports halls, as well as a cafeteria.
