Opening ceremony of Lachin District No. 2 secondary school after major renovation

On August 25, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attended the opening ceremony of Lachin District No. 2 secondary school following major renovations.

President Ilham Aliyev signed an order on September 22, 2022, for the design and major renovation of the of Lachin district No.2 secondary school building. Based on this order, restoration, strengthening, and major renovation works in the school building began in December of the same year. The three-story school building, with a capacity of 510 students, covers an area of 4,550 square meters. The building includes 24-seat nine classrooms, 18-seat five classrooms, and 12-seat four classrooms, one computer room, one technology room, three laboratories, a pre-school preparation room for 18 students, and a 24-seat military training room.
