Opening ceremony of Khankendi City Nursery-Kindergarten No. 1 following renovation

On September 19, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the opening ceremony of Nursery-Kindergarten No. 1 in the city of Khankendi, following its renovation.

The major renovation of the Khankendi city nursery-kindergarten was carried out in accordance with the First State Program on the Great Return to the liberated territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan, approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated November 16, 2022.

Commissioned by the Ministry of Science and Education, the major renovation work at the Khankendi city nursery-kindergarten began in May of this year. The preschool education facility is designed to accommodate 80 children and covers an area of ​​0.21 hectares, with a total area of ​​1,340 square meters. The institution includes 4 group rooms, a medical room, a methodological office, a kitchen, assembly and sports halls, as well as a laundry facility.
