Opening ceremony of 330 kW Jabrayil junction substation

On May 4, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev inaugurated the 330 kW Jabrayil junction substation.

Last year, on May 26, within the framework of the Azerbaijan-Türkiye-Europe energy corridor project, initiated with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, the foundation was laid for the 330/110 kW Jabrayil substation, and a 132-kilometer long 330 kW Aghjabedi- Jabrayil transmission line was completed by AzerEnergy within a year and the 330 kW Aghjabedi substation was also completely rebuilt using modern technologies.

In order to implement the three-stage cross-country energy project, additional reserve slots were created in the 330 and 110 kW open distribution facilities built at the Jabrayil power junction. At the same time, a Digital Control Center was built here for automatic switching, intelligent control, operational monitoring and other processes.
