One-on-one Meeting of Azerbaijani and Turkish Presidents

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the Republic of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a one-on-one meeting in Aghali village of Zangilan On October 26.

At the meeting, bilateral relations between our countries and regional processes, expansion of cooperation in the economic and commercial fields and the current state of projects related to energy, transport, and the development of Karabakh, plans for the future, and, most importantly, further development of the relations reached to the level of the strategic alliance with the Shusha Declaration have been discussed.

President Ilham Aliyev and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made joint press statements. In the statement, while highly appreciating the fast-moving reconstruction works in the liberated regions, the heads of state expressed their joint participation in the opening of the Fuzuli International Airport once again as an indicator of the unity between the two countries and stated that Turkiye and Azerbaijan would always stand by each other as two brotherly countries.
