On June 15, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and First Lady Emine Erdoğan attended a musical composition titled “Musical Heritage and Karabakh Horses on the Jidir Duzu plain” organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Shusha.

The musical composition featured an impressive performance by Karabakh horses presented by the Azerbaijan Equestrian Federation, accompanied by dances performed by the ballet troupe of the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, State Song and Dance Ensemble named after Fikrat Amirov, the Azerbaijan State Dance Ensemble, the Mirvari Dance Group, students of the Baku Choreography Academy, and performances by the Natig rhythm group. The program also featured Azerbaijani and Turkish folk and composer songs.

During the event, President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was presented with a Karabakh horse named Zafer (Victory), one of the oldest horse breeds, and a Kharibulbul composition. The Kharibulbul composition, depicting two kharibulbul flowers, the symbol of Karabakh, intertwined together, symbolizes the eternal friendship and brotherhood between Azerbaijan and Türkiye.

Guests of the event were also presented with a collection of publications by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation titled “Cultural Heritage of Karabakh”. The collection includes individual editions dedicated to literature, music, architecture, folk crafts, and carpet weaving.
