President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev paid a working visit to Brussels, the capital city of the Kingdom of Belgium, on December 13 to attend the VI Eastern Partnership Summit of the European Union.
Within the framework of the visit, on December 14, President Ilham Aliyev met with the President of the European Council Charles Michel.
During the meeting, the successful development of the relations between the European Union and Azerbaijan was noted, the visit of Charles Michel to the Republic of Azerbaijan was mentioned, and the European Union’s support for the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan was emphasized.
They also exchanged views on the trilateral meeting to be held today between the European Union, Azerbaijan, and Armenia.
