Inspection of the Turshsu spring in the Shusha district

On December 22, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev visited the territory of Turshsu spring in the Shusha district.

Located 17 kilometers southwest of Shusha city, Turshsu is a mineral water source situated at an elevation of 1,700 meters on the banks of the Zarisli River, slightly off the Shusha–Lachin road. There are several such water sources in the Shusha district. The water of this spring near the Turshsu settlement flows intermittently, with periods of flow lasting more than an hour. The water is rich in healthy microelements, including carbon, hydrogencarbonate, magnesium, sodium, and calcium. It has a mineralization level of 2.4 g/l and a temperature range of 5–10 degrees Celsius. This water has healing effects for individuals suffering from cardiovascular, anemia, liver, bile duct, gallbladder, gastrointestinal, and kidney diseases.
