Information on Shusha’s Master Plan

On May 17, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko were briefed on the Master Plan of Shusha.

While preparing the Master plan, the preservation of the city’s historical character was taken as a basis. All projects carried out in the cultural capital of Azerbaijan are based on a synthesis of history and modernity. The master plan includes the construction of medium, high and mixed density residential buildings in Shusha, the location of the city center, newly built and preserved historical buildings and monuments. Restoration and reconstruction work in Shusha is currently ongoing based on the Master Plan.
