Inauguration of the “Zangilan” substation

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attended the opening of the 110/35/10 kV “Zangilan” substation of AzerEnergy OJSC on October 20. During the ceremony, President Ilham Aliyev launched the “Zangilan” substation.

A double-circuit 110 kV transmission line with a total length of 110 kilometers was laid from the Shukurbeyli substation in Fizuli to the Zangilan region, where the electric power infrastructure was completely destroyed. The necessary work on lightning protection of overhead lines and signal transmission between substations has been completed. The building of the substation is equipped with modern equipment, 2 transformers with a capacity of 25 MVA have been installed. Necessary infrastructure has been created, taking into account the expansion of the network in the future. The micro-SCADA dispatch control system built here allows real-time control of the substation’s operation mode and transmission of indicators to the SCADA system of Azerenerji OJSC.
