Inauguration of the Khojaly Brick Factory

On July 18, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the opening ceremony of the Khojaly Brick Factory.

This manufacturing facility was built in the village of Dashbulag, Khojaly district. The factory utilizes modern German and Turkish technologies, with a focus on energy efficiency and environmental protection. The main raw material source for the factory is the Khojaly clay deposit located near Khojaly city. The factory covers an area of nearly one hectare, with an additional 6.5 hectares allocated for raw material storage.

The project, valued at 8.5 million Azerbaijani manats, currently provides permanent employment for 60 people, most of whom are residents of districts liberated from occupation. In the future, the number of jobs at the factory is expected to increase to 120. The facility’s annual production capacity is 16.2 million bricks.
