Inauguration of a Pigeon Monument and Fountain complex in the “Smart Village” project

An opening ceremony of the first stage of the “Smart Village” project has been held in the Aghali village of the Zangilan district. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attended the ceremony on May 27.

The head of state and the First Lady got acquainted with the Aghali village square. A pigeon monument and fountain complex have been established in the village square, which symbolizes eternal peace in ancient Azerbaijani lands that had been occupied for almost 30 years. President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva put the fountain into operation.
