Inauguration ceremony of the Sugovushan reservoir after renovation

On October 15, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the inauguration ceremony of the Sugovushan reservoir in the Tartar district following its renovation. During the ceremony, the head of state activated the Sugovushan reservoir.

The Sugovushan reservoir and its main canals were originally put into operation in 1976. The reservoir has a total water capacity of 5.86 million cubic meters. The dam measures 630 meters in length, 28 meters in height, and 10 meters in width.
