Groundbreaking for the Giyasli village in Aghdam

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has laid the foundation for the village of Giyasli in the Aghdam district.

Giyasli village is designed in a modern style while preserving historical traditions. The total area of the village is approximately 400 hectares. It is planned to accommodate 4,972 residents in the village. A total of 1323 individual houses are planned to be built in the village.

Taking into account the living burden of the population that will settle here, 145 hectares of land has been allocated for the first stage of the construction of neighborhoods. In this phase, 656 individual houses will be built to accommodate 2,546 people. The village will feature a 540-seat school, two kindergartens with a capacity of 180 seats each, and other social facilities. Additionally, alternative energy sources will be used in the village to save on energy resources.
