On November 8, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for the Garghabazar village in the Fuzuli district. The head of state laid the foundation for the village.
Located 10 kilometers from Fuzuli International Airport in the southwest of the district, the administrative territory of the village also includes the villages of Yal-Pirahmadi and Sardarly. The total planned area of the Gargabazar village is 152.6 hectares. It is planned to relocate 2 thousand people to the village. A total of 527 individual houses will be built in the village. In the first phase of construction, 35.5 hectares of land have been allocated for the construction of 181 individual houses. During this phase, 181 families, comprising 629 people, are expected to be resettled in the village.
The village will also see the restoration of historical architectural monuments, including the Shah Abbas Caravanserai and the Shah Abbas Mosque.
