Groundbreaking for the Bash Garvand village in the Aghdam district

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for the Bash Garvand village in the Aghdam district. During the ceremony, the head of state laid the foundation for the village.

The village is designed in a modern style while preserving historical traditions. The total area of the village is 476 hectares. Accommodation of 6,057 people and construction of 1,495 individual houses in the village is planned. For the first phase of the project, more than 202 hectares of land have been allocated. In this phase, it is planned to relocate 851 families—3,703 people—to the village. Accordingly, 851 houses will be constructed in this phase. 170 of these houses will have two rooms, 425 will have three rooms, 213 will have four rooms, and 43 will have five rooms.
