Groundbreaking for Holcim Azerbaijan OJSC

On May 4, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev laid the foundation for Holcim Azerbaijan OJSC in the Aras Valley Economic Zone Industrial Park in the Jabrayil district.

Holcim Azerbaijan OJSC will build a factory for the production of commercial concrete and dry adhesive based on modern technologies on the 5-hectare territory of the Industrial Park. Additionally, a terminal for cement sales will be established. The enterprise, with a total investment value of 3.74 million manats, will utilize advanced European technologies. The project will provide permanent employment for 25 people. The products manufactured at the factory will contribute to the implementation of sustainable construction in the region, and the optimization of the process of transporting products will serve to protect the environment.
