Groundbreaking ceremony for the Zilanli village

On May 4, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for the Zilanli village in the Gubadli district. During the ceremony, President Ilham Aliyev laid the foundation for the village of Zilanli.

The village is located 20 kilometers from the center of the Gubadli district, at the confluence of the Hakari and Bargushad rivers. Zilanli is adjacent to the Aghali village of the Zangilan district. The planned total area of the village is 180 hectares. In the first phase, it is planned to build 159 houses and accommodate 772 people. The houses to be constructed will have two, three, four, and five rooms. In the future, it is planned for 2,520 residents (630 families) to live in this village. The villages of Kurd Mahmudlu and Selali, which are within the Zilanlı village administrative area, are also planned to be included in this settlement.
