Groundbreaking ceremony for the Yanshag village

On May 27, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev visited the Kalbajar and Lachin districts. Within the framework of the visit, the head of state laid the foundation of the Yanshag village in the Kalbajar district.

In the Yanshag village, the resettlement of 421 families is planned. In consideration of a 20-year development perspective and the subsequent expansion of the residential area, more than 121 hectares of land have been allocated. In the first phase, construction of single-story individual houses is planned for the relocation of 218 families. Of these 218 houses, 50 will have two-rooms, 112 three-rooms, 41 four-rooms, and 15 five-rooms. Additionally, a 264-seat school and an 80-seat kindergarten will be built here.
