Groundbreaking ceremony for the village of Zangilan

On September 28, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the village of Zangilan in the Zangilan District. During the ceremony, the head of state officially laid the foundation stone for the Zangilan village.

The village of Zangilan is located 3.1 kilometers from the city center, on the banks of the Oxchuchay River, and along the Zangilan–Mincivan road, in a flat area. According to the master plan, the village of Zangilan has been designed along with the Icheri Muşlan and Malikli villages. The total planned area for the village is 111.3 hectares. The project includes the construction of 306 individual houses and 102 apartments in 2–3 story block buildings, intended for 1,631 residents. In the first phase, 127 individual houses will be built to accommodate 489 residents.
