On May 28, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the Shotlanli village in the Aghdam district. The head of state laid the foundation for the Shotlanli village.
The planned area of the village, which will encompass the territories of Shotlanli and Umudlu villages, is 197.4 hectares. It is planned to relocate 3 thousand people here. For this, 750 houses will be built. In the first phase, the planned area will exceed 51 hectares, with plans to relocate 205 families. Of the 205 houses to be built, 41 will have two rooms, 103 will have three rooms, 51 will have four rooms, and 10 will have five rooms. The village will feature a school building with a capacity of 540 students, a kindergarten for 90 children, a medical station, a community center, a library, a guesthouse, a commercial center, a bazaar, a sports and wellness center, an administrative building, a domestic services facility, a village square, a Flag Square, a park, a fire station (with 2 fire trucks), a boiler house, a water reservoir, a sports field, and a 35 kV distribution facility.
