On May 28, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the Namirli village in the Aghdam district. The head of state laid the foundation for the Namirli village.
The planned area of the village is 211 hectares. Relocation of 3036 people is planned. To accommodate this population, 759 individual houses will be constructed. The planned area covers the territories of Namirli and Shuraabad villages. In the first phase, the planned area will cover 50.22 hectares, with plans to relocate 179 families. During this phase, 179 houses will be built, including 36 two-room, 90 three-room, 44 four-room, and 9 five-room houses. Additionally, the village will feature a school building with a capacity of 528 students, an 80-child capacity kindergarten, a medical station, a community center, a library, a guesthouse, a commercial center, a sports and wellness center, an administrative building, a domestic services facility, a village square, a Flag Square, a park, a boiler house, a water reservoir, a sports field, a 35 kV distribution facility, and a market complex.
